The third-generation Shuffle is half the size of the previous model. This iPod is tiny, about the size of a AA battery. It is small, yet it has 4 GB capacity which can store about 1,000 songs.

Compact and sleek is the design of Apple’s new Shuffle. There are no controls on the actual unit, as the Shuffle includes new earphones that act as the remote. With the press of a button you can play, pause, adjust volume, switch playlists and now hear information.

Thanks to new “VoiceOver” technology, the Shuffle has the ability to speak the song title, artist, and playlist names. The Shuffle also has an extended battery life of 10 hours. It comes with a short USB cable used for syncing and charging.
