Compaq CQ2009F Desktop PC
The Compaq CQ2009F Desktop PC comes in the form of a mini-tower. That is where it gets its alias the “mini-Q.” The aim of the PC is to be a small size, small power usage, and small cost alternative.
This type of computer has been termed a Nettop, which is a mini desktop that can do basic computing tasks and is primarily used for browsing the Internet to access online applications. It can be a green choice as a second computer for a home. As Nettops are cheap and power-saving, they can also be an asset for business users.
The Compaq CQ2009f computer is installed with Windows XP Home Edition, 1.60GHz Intel Atom Processor 230 with 512KB L2 Cache, 1GB PC2-4200 DDR2 SDRAM Memory, 160GB 7200RPM SATA Hard Drive, Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 950 with 64MB Dedicated Graphics Memory, SuperMulti DVD Burner, and 10/100 Base-T Network Interface.

This mini-Q desktop looks like a good buy as starter computer for the kids. I like that it’s small so it doesn’t take up too much space.
